About
My fitness journey has been anything but a straight road. I have learned how to be stronger inside and out. This inspired me to create city girl fitness. As a child, I was very active in dance, swimming and competitive figure skating. Soon afterwards, I discovered boxing, pilates as well as yoga and strength training.
When I went to college, I was very slender and followed a very strict diet. Once on my own, I struggled with focus and discipline in my first year of school away from home. I found it difficult to cope with the stress of studying and living in a new city.

Soon afterwards, I injured my ankle and felt like I could no longer workout. I lacked the education and will to overcome this challenge. I stopped working out and began eating junk; without realizing it, I gained 25 pounds. What the Heck?! The scale had to be lying! I asked myself, how did I get here? Would I ever get back? Will I ever fit into my skinny jeans?
Thankfully, I did find my way back. I went back to square one. I finished school and I moved back to Toronto. So began my journey back to being physically fit. Since educating myself in fitness, health and nutrition, I began to apply what I had learned with great and satisfying results!
I have learned with complete confidence the power of committing to a regular fitness routine. It takes commitment. One cannot achieve greatness without commitment. Nobody can perform exercise routines 6 days one week and then only perform once the next. Those results will disappoint you.
Now when I look back, I don’t even recognize old pictures of myself! That person that lost their motivation, no longer exists. And I can show you how to achieve similar results – the city girl fitness way! I can help you to achieve your fitness expectations and weight loss goals, sign up for a class today and take your first step to being fit & fabulous!
